Despite the unusual flurry of interest by at least a segment of the public, Ron Paul has been virtually ignored by the mainstream media.
Even using low national polling numbers as justification, it does not seem to make sense when considering Ron Paul’s unusual ability to out-poll the “top tier” candidates after every national debate.
It would seem that Ron Paul would at least be worthy of a public interest story by the mainstream media that will cover Paris Hilton and Anna Nicole Smith ad nauseam. Certainly the Ron Paul campaign is an anomaly that makes for a good story in the very least.
The traditional media may try to keep Ron Paul's groundswell of support a secret but this will only work against them. In this day and age their ability to influence world events is diminished.
Newspaper circulations are declining, there are more news channels on television than ever before and the internet has passed them all by. America is simply no longer dependent upon the paper and the evening news.
Sooner or later they are going to have to acknowledge and report the actual news. If they don't, they will be rendered completely obsolete in the Internet-based society of the 21st century.

Ron Paul gets far more press than a third tier candidate deserves. I can guarantee that he has been part of more stories, headlines and interviews that Tancredo, Hunter or even Huckabee (who polls twice as high).
Ron Paul gets more press than a third tier candidate and rightfully so. As the top tier candidate that he is, he should be getting more press than Johm McCain but he is not. Yet Ron Paul continues to increase his support more than McCain, Tancredo and Hunter combined!
The internet is the new printing press. Any fool can put his thoughts on the screen to spread filth. And, like the time of the printing press, we need a country that will protect those thoughts to be freely expressed.
Try getting yourself an influential newspaper started today without serious financial backing, or a TV or radio station for that matter. In a way, the internet and its openness provides the modern existence with a glimpse into the historic past of change and intellectual freedom.
But when it comes to issues as serious and life shaping as a presidential race, nothing cam beat pounding the pavement and pressing the flesh. If you really want to make an impression that will last and cause a meaningful impact, you must look into peoples eyes and prove your existence first hand.
Hey, I love your site. I came over from Dailypaul and I wanted to let you know that your site is truly an asset to the campaign. Please keep up the good work.
I want to "Thank You" for taking the time to put this website a d the "facts" together. I know so many people that are drinking the "koolaid" and propaganda put out by the 5 usual suspects.
It is not funny it is dangerous as how we are slowly losing our rights to truth and many just don't get it!
Ron Paul trascends political affilitations-Great website!
I am sending this link to all my friends and hopefully will start
discerning truth from deception and lies.
Go Ron Paul!!:)
I join the others here in thanking you for putting together an excellent site. It's exactly the information I've been looking for in order to convince people like my father who, although he supports Paul's views and "would vote for him"... doesn't believe he has a chance... that Paul is actually the most likely candidate to win the nomination. He's also the most likely to beat Hillary one-on-one.
What an amazing campaign it will be in 2008 to see the anti-war Republican debating the pro-war Democrat!
Hillary will look like the fake, lying, establishment politician she is... and it will be clear for all to see.
Ron Paul continues to be ignored, but in addition to that, he's being smeared by the mainstream media. My case in point is the recent attempt to discredit Paul by associating him with a "brothel owner."
There are dozens of articles calling him such things as the "candidate of pimps and prostitutes." The neo-con jackasses are having a field day with this with their lies and insinuations.
Let's hope there are enough freedom loving people in this country with the testicular fortitude to overcome these slurs. It would be nice to see one of the two major parties taken over by true libertarians and have the neo-cons on the outside looking in.
Here's what needs to happen:
It's not enough to leave pro-Paul comments in all of the articles about him, we must leave comments everywhere that something that would be affected by Paul's philosophy exists, on the Internet and in the real world.
For example: The FDA, right now, is thinking about passing a law limiting the amount of salt in processed foods. Basically, the government is "saving us from ourselves" yet again. Because we the people are far too stupid to understand something as complicated as "limiting our salt intake."
Our mark must be everywhere.
